1. All the players from both teams will be responsible, led by the Captains, for the time management of the entire game. Captains must follow the committee's guidelines and complete the match on time.
2. The first fielding side will need to start the Game by 7:30PM AEST and finish the game by 8:30PM AEST
3. The second fielding side will need to start the game by 8:30PM AEST and finish the game by 9:30PM AEST
4. Due to any unavoidable circumstances, any of the innings gets delayed, all the players from both teams will try to cover up the time by assisting each other.
5. If any captain feels the other side is wasting time intentionally, he can talk to the Umpire (who is a part of the batting team) about the delay.
6. The umpire will then urge the batting team to rush things to normal.
7. Controlling the entire team's temper would be a key responsibility of the captain. If anyone is behaving incorrectly or damaging the sportsmanship of Eagles values, the captains need to step up and control the situation by controlling their team member(s)
8. If there is any dispute, the only person who can raise it to the umpire is the main captain and the committee member. All other team members need to be patient and support whatever the outcome of the discussion between the captain and the umpire(s)
9. Captains will also monitor and control any side comments (Which is against the Eagles' values and Cricket sportsmanship) coming from any of their team members. The captain will ensure this behaviour is stopped immediately.
10. For any ongoing dispute, captains will need to reach out to the available Committee members in the field. Once that happens, available committee members will make a decision in accordance with our Eagles rule book. If, for any reason, the dispute cannot be resolved during game time, everyone (including the committee members) needs to be patient enough to discuss the issue after the game and wait for a resolution. The game will need to be continued.
11. For the fairness of the game, the committee will try to prepare the players' draft by distributing committee members between the two teams. If, for any reason, that doesn’t happen, committee members are obliged to act neutrally irrespective of the situation of the game.
